 Hi, I’m Kim, the proud owner of Taproot Brewhouse & Taproot Tees, where community, creativity, and good vibes come together. We opened our doors in 2021 in the heart of Pierceton, Indiana, and it’s been my absolute joy to serve this wonderful community. Before Taproot, I spent over 20 years in the corporate and customer service world as a customer service sales associate. While I learned a lot, I was always searching for something more fulfilling—something that would let me tap into my creative side and really make a difference. That’s when Taproot Tees was born in 2013, starting with a little fun Christmas project. I designed some shirts for my chicken coop with cheeky slogans like “I Just Got Laid at Gumption Farm,” and, to my surprise, people actually wanted them! One shirt led to another, and before I knew it, I was doing festivals, flea markets, and pop-ups, diving headfirst into the art process and loving every minute of it. Along the way, I realized that what truly made me happy was not just making art, but helping others. Years later I opened my storefront and it’s been so much fun  serving and meeting new people everyday. Taproot quickly became an extension of my home—whether it was offering a warm meal to my neighbors, lending a hand when someone needed it, or just being a friendly ear to listen. Fast forward to today, and Taproot is all about community. The cozy, laid-back vibe here welcomes everyone, whether you’re grabbing a craft beer, shopping for custom tees and unique gifts, or enjoying a delicious meal. We’ve got board games for a little friendly competition and a menu that’ll make you feel right at home. At Taproot, I want you to feel like part of the family. My customers aren’t just customers—they’re friends. So, whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, I’d love to meet you and make you feel welcome.
